At AOCPIN, we recognize that peace serves as the foundational bedrock for unity and flourishing communities. Dignitaries across East and West as well as the Horn/ Magreb Africa, at the invitation of the Asillah Forum Foundation, on October 9 and 11, 2023, discussed security challenges in the continent and offered recommendations on appropriate partnerships that would serve the interest of Africa.
This represents AOCPIN’s continuing commitment to support and formulate sets of activities and engagements that contribute to the promotion of peace and development, not only within our communities but across the entire African continent. The conference has paved the way for essential initiatives in peace and conflict prevention within our communities, facilitating prompt interventions through awareness campaigns, advocacy, and town hall discussions.
