Ambassador Usman Ari Ogah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and has over three decades of extensive experience in international relations and diplomacy. He served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1993 until his retirement in January 2024.

During his illustrious career, Amb. Ogah rose to the position of Director and served as the Consul General of Nigeria to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. He has held several ambassadorial positions, including Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Timor-Leste. Additionally, he represented Nigeria as the Ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). His diplomatic service also extended to postings in Paris, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Greece and Argentina. 

Amb. Ogah’s vast experience in diplomacy, In addition to his strategic approach to peacebuilding, makes him an invaluable asset. His work is guided by a deep commitment to fostering sustainable peace through a whole-of-society approach, engaging diverse stakeholders to address the root causes of conflict. Happily married with children, Amb. Ogah’s life and career reflect a profound dedication to promoting peace and stability on a global scale.

Mrs. Panritmwa Odoh is a seasoned Project Manager with 7 years of experience in designing and implementing projects that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes She serves as the Lead Programs Officer and is dedicated to driving impactful peace initiatives through a unique whole-of-the-society approach. Her passion for social justice and human rights fuels her commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable peace in communities and building resilient communities where peace can thrive.

At AOCPIN, Panritmwa is not only a leader in program development but also a mentor and advocate for collaborative efforts that empower youth and women in communities to take ownership of not just their peacebuilding journeys but their lives as a whole. Her work continues to inspire change and drive progress toward a more peaceful and equitable world. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Abuja.

Panritmwa works closely with diverse stakeholders—ranging from local communities and civil society organizations to government agencies and international partners—to design and implement innovative programs that address the root causes of conflict.

Akeem Ibitoye is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in finance, taxation, and education. A graduate of the University of Benin, he has furthered his knowledge with a Proficiency Certificate in Computer Appreciation from AfriHub Nigeria Limited. Akeem is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and is actively pursuing membership with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Akeem has over 13 years of professional experience across various sectors, including Accounting Practice, Photography & Digital Imaging, and the Agricultural Sector. Currently, he serves as the Finance Officer at AOCPIN. His areas of expertise include Tax Planning, Budgeting, Payroll Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls, reflecting his strong proficiency in finance and taxation.

In addition to his professional role, Akeem is a dedicated educator, teaching subjects such as Business Management and Finance (BMF), Financial Reporting (FR), Advanced Taxation (ATAX), and Public Sector Accounting & Finance (PSAF) to students and colleagues preparing for ICAN examinations. His combination of professional experience and commitment to education makes him a respected figure in both finance and academia.

Ms. Patience Ikoro Akwa is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), where she is developing a deep understanding of global affairs and diplomacy. Alongside her academic pursuits, she has established herself as a seasoned Executive Assistant, committed to fostering efficiency and excellence in all her professional endeavors.

Outside her professional life, Patience is deeply committed to community service. She volunteers with several organizations, most notably the Shepherd’s Mentorship Foundation, where she plays a pivotal role in the Child’s Safe Space initiative. In this capacity, she helps to organize and coordinate events that bring together community members, fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration around development projects. Her work in this area reflects her belief in the transformative power of well-organized, collaborative efforts to drive meaningful change within communities.

In her current role at the Abdullahi Omaki Community Peace Initiatives Network (AOCPIN), Patience plays a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating the organization’s monthly zoom Conversations know as Peace Advocacies Network for Education and Leadership(The PANEL). These sessions serve as a critical platform for discussing and addressing pressing issues related to peace, governance, and community development. Patience ensures that each conversation is effectively organized, engaging participants from diverse backgrounds, and fostering meaningful dialogue that aligns with AOCPIN’s mission of promoting peace and constructive solutions through advocacy and collaboration.

Fatima Binta A. Abdullahi is a dedicated young professional with a diverse background in Law, Business, and Community service. She earned a Diploma in Civil Law from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and had her first work experience at the Tudun Wada Court, Zaria, during her chamber attachment, provided her with practical exposure to legal procedures and sharpened her research skills in a legal setting.

After her time in Zaria, Fatima ventured into Entrepreneurship, establishing a catering business. Simultaneously, she remained committed to her passion for community development by volunteering for an All-Girls Foundation, which she has been actively involved with since her secondary school years.

Her career later expanded into the media and design sector, where she worked with Prime Streamers, assisting in graphic design and production tasks. She also took on the role of hosting online shows focused on youth issues and the influence of peer pressure, gaining valuable experience in interactive media and content production.

Currently, Fatima is a Program Intern at AOCPIN. Her time at AOCPIN has been transformative, as she has developed a deeper understanding of how peace can be achieved through dedicated efforts and strategic implementation of simple yet effective mechanisms. Her journey with the organization has already begun to shape her perspective on peace-building and collaborative governance.
